Position Title: Entry Writer

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Providing good customer service to our customer base while maintaining a positive working relationship with fellow employees.
-Being familiar with 19 CFR (Custom Duties) and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule know how to properly classify articles of trade imported into the United States.
-Being able to communicate in a proficient manner with U.S. Customs and other government agencies concerning the status of imports.
-Reviewing import documents for accuracy as they relate to articles being imported.
-Updating in a timely manner, the customer base regarding the status of their imports.
-Organizing, reviewing, analyzing, auditing, filing documents that are critical to the import process of goods entering into the country from their receipt in the U.S. to their final delivery to the recipient.

Qualification:
-Min. 2 years of CHB entry-writing or Import Specialist experience is required.
-Knowledge in classifying merchandise (A to Z).
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
-Accurate and rapid data entry ability.
-Excellent computer skills
-Able to multi-task. Detail oriented.
-Bilingual a plus.
-Professional in mannerism with the ability to project that quality to customers.


Position Title: Accountant
Vacancy valid thru: TBD

The accountant is responsible for performing a variety of recording, processing and analyzing activities to support I-Logix Customs, Inc. financial reporting needs.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Accounting data entry. Receivables and Payables.
-Documents transactions by classifying and entering invoices, cash receipts, and vendor invoices timely and accurately into I-Logix Customs accounting software application.
-Timely files, electronically and via hard copy, vendor payment records and other documents.
-Prepares journal entries and occasional bank reconciliations.
-Analyzes financial information for I-Logix Customs, Inc.
-Prepares a range of financial reports, including specialized and non-standard reports for I-Logix Customs, Inc.
-Monitors the receivables and payables and makes recommendations to management when feasible, to improve the process flow.
-Documents monetary transactions.


Qualification:
-Min 1 to 2 years accounting and finance skills
-Strict attention to detail
-Dependable
-Honesty and integrity a must.
-Deadline-oriented and organized.
-Very good math skills & Microsoft office Excel
